LOTS OF LOVELY BIRDS

Hello my lovelies

For my 'quilting' birthday, I requested fabrics with BIRDS.  Here are some of the fabrics I was given.  Aren't they fabby?

Carol came round the other day to give me some ideas of how I can use them.  A great quilt coming up!

I've also started cutting into them (a bit) for a 'Robyn' quilt I'm making.

Here's block number one!

Isn't this one beautiful (above)?  Papa says it is a swallow and its nest.  It's from a Japanese fabric range.

GORGEOUS FLOWERS

Darling Carol popped in on Saturday and brought these gorgeous flowers.  The 'murraya' is from her garden.

Another name for the murraya is orange jessamine and the fragrance is just like orange blossom.

I bought this little book today and will post to you both soon.  It has gorgeous sayings in it.  Such as:

a friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can bark it back to you when you have forgotten the woofs.

a friend is one who knows who you are, understands where you have been digging, accepts how dirty you are and still invites you to dinner.
