This morning we set off nice and early to head up the hill to Buderim where Auntie Emma had planned for us to take a walk through a rainforest. We had a great time with Fergus stopping at every sign on the path to explain what we were looking at or were about to look at. One sign said there were "puddles" ahead!
The best part of the walk though was watching and listening to Fergus as new signs, slippery rocks, waterfalls, bridges and cicadas took his attention.
Because there was a huge storm last night, there was a lot of water falling from the waterfalls and running through the creeks. There were also lots of palm leaves that had been blown off in the strong winds.
It was very warm and humid so after we finished our walk, Auntie Emma said "I think we'll find a nice coffee shop now and have some morning tea!"
to which we all shouted "Yay!!!"
Here's the coffee shop we went to. It was once a garage and as you can see it has kept its 'garage' name.
Here's a photograph of inside.
A very happy Fergus climbed into the car as we made our way home. He spent the whole way looking at the various caravans from long ago to the present time.
Tomorrow Auntie Emma is going to see her architect and they are going to discuss things like kitchens and bathroom tiles for the new house.
Here's a photograph of Sarah and a link to her own home in Noosa.

Love Nanxxxx
